Beneath still waters
There's a strong undertow
The surface won't tell you
What the deep water knows
Rotoiti is a very special place. My connection to it goes back to 1950 with Mum’s side of the family. I spent the best days of my childhood there, getting to know the place intimately. And now it’s where I take myself and my family to recharge. We watch the ebb and flow, the patterns of life in and around the lake. This image is about the beauty of life carrying on, in the week after Dad left us.
